Retro style gaming inspired fun

These fun little experiments were inspired by a playthrough of a sweet game called Undertale. The pixel art graphics brought me so much joy and nostalgia that I just had to give it a shot myself. So I dug up some old drawings, cranked up illustrator and learned how to make vector pixel art.

Check out the game that inspired this experiment

His last name is not Gator

Al has spent his entire life explaining to people that his last name is not “Gator” - its Harrison. Also, he is a crocodile, so the pun wouldn’t make sense even if Gator was his last name.

Talk it out

One of the best parts of Undertale is its hilarious dialog. I wanted to get a taste of what it would be like to write the dialog that shapes characters and their relationships.
